I studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
My teaching qualification is a 'Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music '(LRAM).
I am a qualified Music Therapist and Supervisor.
I have a background of over thirty years as a professional pianist, a number of artist in residence placements in education settings and work in the NHS. For thirteen years, I was a founding director of 'PianoCircus', a contemporary international touring group of six pianos. The group was innovative and at the cutting edge of contemporary music, performing, commissioning new music and recording with Decca's 'Argo' label.
One of our most amazing projects was with 'Scarabeus Ariel theatre', where we suspended 4 of our digital pianos and performed in the air!
Over the past thirty years I have devoted myself to teaching all ages and levels, and greatly enjoy helping my students to develop their technique and musicality.
'Piano Circus'. I’m the one with the hat!
